Well, butter my biscuit, look who’s stepping up their rewards game! Pardon the intrusion for a moment, but this could be the funky fresh news you’ve been waiting for.

Chow Down on Savings: Capital One Cards Now Delivering 10% Cash Back on Uber and Uber Eats

Are you one of those lucky ducks who happens to be a foodie or a frequent Uber rider? If so, then Capital One has cooked up a saucy new rewards offer that’s hotter than a jalapeño. Drumroll please… Count ’em, four Capital One credit cards are now handing over a whopping 10% cash back on all your Uber or Uber Eats purchases.

And the lucky cards, you ask? They are the Capital One Savor Rewards, SavorOne Rewards, SavorOne Rewards for Students, and Quicksilver Rewards for Students. The best part? This juicy deal is open to both new and existing cardholders and it runs until November 14, 2024. Talk about a long-lasting flavor, huh?

To get your hands on these rewards, just use any of these eligible Capital One cards when you book an Uber ride or order food on the Uber Eats app. The 10% cash back is automatically applied for each qualifying transaction. It’s just like having your cake and eating it too, right?

You Don’t Need to Hitch a Ride on Uber One, but Capital One’s Giving a Free Pass

No need to get your knickers in a twist if you haven’t signed up for Uber One. You can still snag this 10% cash back offer without having the status of Uber’s premium membership, Uber One. But guess what? Capital One is adding a cherry on top by offering a complimentary Uber One membership to qualifying cardholders until November 14, 2024.

To score this freebie, you just need to enroll through the Uber app, Uber Eats app, or online and make your qualifying Capital One card your primary payment method. Then, as easy as pie, Capital One will cover your $9.99 monthly subscription fee. How cool is that?

Good Vibes Only: Smooth Sailing with Capital One Cards’ Rewards

Even without the Uber and Uber Eats promotion, these Capital One cards still hold a strong position in rewards generosity. Yep, they’re on Money’s list for the best credit cards, top cash back credit cards, and premium student credit cards.

  • The Capital One Savor Rewards card is a real charmer for the outgoing crowd, giving a 4% cash back on both dining and entertainment for a $95 annual fee. Who could resist that?
  • No annual fee? Yes, please! Swap to the Capital One SavorOne Rewards card instead and still enjoy a 3% cash back for the same categories.

And there’s more… Both cards also award 3% to 4% cash back on top streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, 3% at grocery stores, 5% on hotels and rental car bookings via the Capital One Travel portal, and a massive 8% back on tickets for sports and entertainment bought through Capital One Entertainment or Vivid Seats.

If you’re a student, the SavorOne Rewards for Students comes with the same package, but without the drama of approval. The Capital One Quicksilver Rewards for Students card is a more no-nonsense option: it earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases, and gives a 5% for hotels and car rentals booked via the Capital One Travel site. That’s still one up from the usual 1% rate a lot of cards offer on non-bonus purchases.

Packed with Travel Perks and Safety Nets

The Capital One cards hopping on the 10% Uber and Uber Eats deal come with a couple of extra goodies. They all have no foreign transaction fees, extended warranty on some items, and free travel accident insurance. So even if you encounter a bump in the road (or sky), at least you won’t face a financial crater.
